Scenario one: a) You can certify that you have received at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, or b) You can certify that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the previous six months. You will not require regular testing during the event.
For all riders who are either vaccinated, or who have recovered from COVID-19 and have the proper authentication, will have open access to all event services, including briefing, massages, meals, shuttles, etc by showing their green pass.
The "green certification" for one dose of approved vaccines is valid 15 days after the vaccine is administered until the date of the second dose. The certification can again be approved 24-48 hours after the second dose of the vaccine and is valid for 9 months.

Scenario two: You have received no doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccination, and you do not have certification that you have recovered from COVID-19. You will need regular testing during the event.
All riders who are not fully vaccinated or who cannot provide proof of recovery from COVID-19 will need to show proof that you have been tested (PCR or antigen test) with a negative result within the last 48 hours, each time you access an Haute Route service or public restaurant, bar, or any other cultural or leisure institution in Italy.
For all the riders in scenario two, Haute Route has established a process to ensure you can access tests whenever needed and continue to enjoy the full event experience.
All riders will have access to a testing centre on the event village at the end of each day for one hour, so they can receive the official confirmation they require to access all services and establishments they wish. Precise timing and pricing details will be confirmed once we can establish the number of riders who will require this service.
