Scenario one: a) You will be fully vaccinated for the start of the event on August 22, or b) You have recovered from COVID-19, authenticated by a positive PCR or antigen test result, at least 11 days but no more than 6 months prior. You will not require regular testing during the event.
For all riders who are either fully vaccinated and can provide an official vaccination certificate (electronic or hard copy), or who have recovered from COVID-19 and have the proper authentication, will have open access to all services, including briefing, massages, restaurants, shuttles, etc.
NOTE: You must be fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine):
- Two weeks after the second shot for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
- Four weeks after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
- Two weeks after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary).

Scenario two: You will be partially vaccinated or not at all vaccinated for the start of the event on August 22 and will need regular testing during the event.
All riders who are not fully vaccinated or who cannot provide proof of recovery from COVID-19 will need to show proof that you have been tested (PCR or antigen test) with a negative result within the last 48 hours, each time you access an Haute Route service or public restaurant, bar, or any other cultural or leisure institution in France:
For all the riders in scenario two, Haute Route has established a process to ensure you can access tests whenever needed and continue to enjoy the full event experience.
All riders will have access to a testing centre on the event village at the end of each day for one hour, so they can receive the official confirmation they require to access all services and establishments they wish. Precise timing and pricing details will be confirmed once we can establish the number of riders who will require this service.
