Kicking off with the Col de la Croix de Fer as the first col of the day and the highest of the event, the iconic Haute Route Alpe d’Huez course means business right from the get-go. Arguably one of the trickier climbs to tackle due to its ever-changing gradient which halts any rhythm, distractions are also aplenty with an ever-changing backdrop from lush forests to stunning waterfalls.
As part of our extra services, we offer an extra race bag option.
An additional race bag will be transported to a pre-determined feed station during each stage in a dedicated van. This means you can pick up extra kit, your own food, or any other personal belongings you may need!
Plus, we also offer a shuttle service that will transfer you from Lyon Airport to The Haute Route Village at 2PM (CET) on registration day – Thursday 22nd June. It will also be available to transfer you from the Haute Route Village back to Lyon Airport on the final day – Sunday 26th June at 2PM (CET).
Take on the challenge together and register as a team of 4-6 members! Keep each other motivated and ride like professionals!
The aim of the game: Each team will make their own strategy to get three of their riders to the finish line as fast as possible. The ranking will be based by cumulating the times of the three fastest members.
You can register as a Team by selecting the Team option directly from your customer account, on the "registration form" section of your event.
Our team of Haute Route ambassadors will be riding alongside yout to support and motivate you.
