REMINDER: COVID-19 PLEDGE

Two weeks ago, you receive an email from our Participant Relations Team concerning a health declaration that you need to sign before collecting your bib. If you haven't done it yet, please take a moment to read and sign the Riders' Declaration regarding

Covid-19 additional measures on the Haute Route Ventoux 2020.

REGISTRATION DAY

All the key information you need for Haute Route Ventoux can be found in the Riders’ Roadbook, but just as a quick reminder, here are a few key things you need to know ahead of Registration Day.

• The Event Village will be located at Bédoin.
• All riders are required to register at the Event Village on Thursday 1st between 2pm and 7pm.

• The mandatory rider briefing takes place at Haute Route Village at 7pm on Thursday and 6:30 pm on Friday and Saturday.

• Start your Haute Route event the right way with the Pasta Party. This starts straight after the rider briefing.

• The Rider Experience and Services team will be on hand throughout the weekend to help you with any questions you may have. Here is a photo of the team so you know who to look out for.

PRE-EVENT SOCIAL RIDE

Get ready for the start of the 2020 Haute Route Ventoux with a pre-event ride on Thursday October 1. Join the Haute Route Ambassadors at 3:45pm at the Haute Route Village for a 38km | 550M+ social ride around Bédoin. You will enjoy a special coffee break in the beautiful resort of Métafort.

WHAT TO PACK

While every rider will have their own personal preferences, a suggested list of items to take on the bike and store in backpacks is provided in the Haute Route Manual (page7). With autumn approaching, the weather on Mont Ventoux can be capricious, so be sure to bring warm clothing and rain gear.

Don’t forget that you must present the following mandatory equipment at the Equipment Safety Check during Bib Collection:

- Hard-shell helmet

- Long sleeve jacket for cold weather

- Overshoes

- Red back light for your bike

- Leg warmers

- Full-finger gloves

- Face mask

Please note that you will also need to bring your own large towel for the post-stage massage.
